Dee Quine (aka @decadethirty on social media) led this four-hour workshop that took place on October the 4th 2019 at Standard Bindery.

The workshop introduced participants to handlettering basics that they could use in memory keeping (e.g. sketch journals, journals, etc.) and planning (e.g. bullet journalling, diary/agenda planners).

Ideal for the absolute beginner, the workshop covered foundational skills in creating different lettering styles, adding decorative elements to your letters, and creating balanced compositions for journalling and planning pages.

The participants enjoyed progressing through serif fonts, block letters and onto script and brush lettering. Each person also took home worksheets to continue their journey in lettering.
