Come join us for a Handlettering Workshop with Dee Quine (aka DecadeThirty). This workshop will be held at Standard Bindery on the Sunday the 19th of April.
This four-hour workshop introduces participants to handlettering basics that can be used in memory keeping (e.g. sketch journals, journals, etc.) and planning (e.g. bullet journalling, diary/agenda planners). Ideal for the absolute beginner, the workshop runs through foundational skills in creating different lettering styles, to adding decorative elements to your letters, and creating balanced compositions for your journalling and planning pages.
Each participant will receive a set of worksheets to practice different lettering styles (block, serif, and script), exemplars of composition layouts, and prompts to spark your handlettering creativity. All materials are provided for use on the day, but you are welcome to bring your favourite drawing supplies or check out the range in store.
This workshop will run from 9.30am (please arrive at 9.15am for a 9.30 start) and run through until 1.30pm.
Places are limited to 8 people.
